GIMP is well-known for offering internship, externship, and apprenticeship opportunities to high school students in various industries. Through the program, participants get the chance to work on projects in a professional setting, which provides them with valuable practical experience that is essential for achieving their career ambitions.
SEMINARS
GIMP offers seminars that provide students with the opportunity to gain knowledge from experts in various industries. These seminars also include interactive sessions with program mentors. They are held in schools, private locations, and virtually to reach a wider audience. GIMP is committed to providing knowledge to individuals regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, or status. Our seminars also serve as a means to evaluate the effectiveness of the program and ensure that its objectives are being met with appropriate data tracking and supervision.
FIELD TRIPS
GIMP offers field trips that provide students with the opportunity to visit different industries within a specific time frame. These field trips aim at exposing participants to different working cultures and brands and provide them with a planned work-based learning experience that allows them to explore and observe various occupations. The field trips are supervised by mentors or program leaders of GIMP to provide participants with an educational and practical introduction to careers in different industries.
BOOTCAMPS & WORKSHOPS
The GIMP bootcamps and workshops are designed to help participants improve in a particular area of interest over a short period of time. Our bootcamps aim at preparing students for their future careers by introducing them to new concepts and ideas, which encourage further learning on their own. In addition to introducing new ideas, we also showcase and introduce innovations created by our students during our workshops. This approach helps teach hands-on skills in a safe environment, where participants can try out new methods and fail without consequences.
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS
GIMP offers scholarships to students who face financial challenges. The scholarship program aims at helping determined students with financial needs gain access to the necessary training and experience provided by GIMP.
